Leisa Moseley is an action minded business woman and consultant specializing in the business of people management. She is the founder and president of The Action Company a political and business development firm that specializes in female candidates and entrepreneurs. Her company has the goal of ensuring that more women have the opportunity to run for and be elected to political office.
With her background in politics she served as an organizer for Barack Obama’s 2008 Presidential campaign overseeing and organizing thousands of volunteers. Once the 08’ campaign was over she continued her campaign work serving on winning teams for local city council races. In 2009 she returned to work for President Obama’s “Organizing for America” organization as a Regional Field Director where she oversaw nine assembly districts and outreach to the African American community.
In 2010, with a desire to see more women in elected office, she launched her consulting firm and continues to be sought out for her comprehensive approach to addressing issues that women candidates who are running for office may face.
With her effective leadership and communication skills she has many years of experience managing people in a supervisory capacity and is often sought out as a speaker and trainer for various groups.
Leisa has an education in Criminal Justice, Psychology and Sociology. She serves on the Nevada Council for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, the Citizens Advisory Council on Juvenile Justice, the executive board of the Clark County Black Caucus and chairs the Judicial/ Law Enforcement Committee for the Clark County Black Caucus. She volunteers her time at various organizations in the Las Vegas valley.
